Vocab is a flashcard drill for the words on the PSAT and SAT. A card shows a word, and you pick what it means from four. It's the third in the family after Clef and Fifty: same deck-on-the-table feel, same idea that the misses should come back until they stick.
It runs right here on this site — free, nothing to install, nothing to sign up for. It works on a phone, a tablet, or a laptop.
Games
| Game | How it plays |
|---|---|
| Meaning | The card shows a word; pick its meaning from four |
| Synonym | Pick the word that means about the same |
| Antonym | Pick the word that means the opposite |
After each answer in practice, the card turns over: the meaning, the word in a sentence, and its synonyms and antonyms. In Antonym, one of the wrong answers is usually a synonym, which is the mistake worth learning not to make.

The bank is 1,073 words. Core (372, green rim) is the PSAT and everyday academic vocabulary. SAT (443, blue rim) is the standard prep-list words. Stretch (258, red rim) is the rare ones from the long lists. The meanings and example sentences were written for this page, in plain language a middle schooler can follow.
What paper can't do
Missed words come back more often. Vocab keeps the last eight answers for every word in each game and weights the deck toward the ones you've been getting wrong; a word answered right three times running fades into the background. The worst are listed under Words to work on, and a bar under the level shows how many are known.
Sprints keep a best score for each game and level. Progress lives in the browser on that device; nothing leaves it.
